The studio's phased plan to re-open will progress in accordance with the safety and health guidelines set by the State and ongoing assessments of studio staffing, facility, resources and supplies. The studio's primary motivation in adopting this plan is to maintain the safety of the studio patrons and staff while finding ways to provide fun and creative services that the studio is uniquely positioned to perform.
Phase I of the plan is already in motion, starting May 18th: offering pottery to go kits to walk in customers. Customers will be greeted at the door, asked to wash or sanitize their hands. While wearing masks they may make their pottery and paint selections, while they wait their pottery to go order will be packed up for them to take home and complete at home. When finished they may bring back their painted items to be fired by dropping them off in our contactless red cart in the 24/7 monitored corridor.
Phase II will begin May 25th: in studio painting by reservation. The studio has gone through a transformation and a deep cleaning to prepare the space for 50% capacity. The studio ask's that 75% of the artists at the table are painting and creating. Masks must be worn with out of seat, they may be lowered or removed while sitting to paint
