Berry Washing Bowl Clay Handbuilding Workshop

Create something beautiful and useful from a simple lump of clay! In this hands-on clay handbuilding workshop, guests will learn how to build their own berry washing bowl, perfect for rinsing and serving fresh berries or other small fruits.

During the workshop, our instructors will guide you through the handbuilding process, teaching you the techniques you need to shape and assemble your project. You'll get to work directly with clay and create a piece that's both functional and uniquely yours.

Once your bowl has been built, we'll take care of the drying and bisque-firing process. When your piece is ready, you'll be able to come back during regular studio hours to paint it however you'd like! Choose your favorite colors, add your own designs, and make your berry washing bowl completely your own.

🎟️ Ticket & Project Information

Ticket price is $7 and includes your seat for the workshop and guided instruction.

Your clay project is paid for at the event. Project pricing covers all materials, both firings, glazing, finishing, and sales tax.

Choose from our classic Low Fire Earthenware Clay body that is great for indoor use only. This clay body will be painted with any glazes from the front studio paint bar.

Or Upgrade to our durable Mid-Fire Stoneware Clay body that is great for outdoor use, is dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. This clay body will be painted with our speciality stoneware glazes in our stoneware clay studio.

Project price for Low Fire Earthenware is $35 or Mid-Fire Stoneware is $55.

After your project is fired and ready, you'll be able to return during regular studio hours to paint your berry washing bowl. We'll take care of the final glazing and firing so your finished piece is ready to use and enjoy!

Refund & Cancellation Policy: At Mr. Toad's Pottery, we strive to provide a creative and enriching environment through our various classes, workshops, and special events. Please review our detailed cancellation and refund policy below, which is tailored to different event types:

Workshops, Classes, Paint & Sips, Art Camps:

• Minimum Participants: A minimum of 4 participants is required to hold a workshop or class.

• Cancellation by Us: If we do not reach this minimum, we may contact you one week in advance to encourage additional sign-ups. If the minimum is still not met 48 hours before the event, we will either transfer your registration to another class or issue a full refund.

• Cancellation by You: If you need to cancel your attendance, please do so at least 48 hours before your scheduled class to receive a credit for a future class. This credit will be valid for use within the next three months. Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class will not receive a credit or refund.

• How to Cancel: You may cancel your participation via phone, email, or online.

• Refunds: When refunds are issued, they will be processed to your original form of payment within 5-7 business days.
