About the event
Every bowl painted and donated to the Empty Bowls project will be 50% off as our way of saying thank you for supporting this meaningful community fundraiser.
If this is your first time painting at Mr. Toad's Pottery, plan to spend about two hours creating your bowl. No reservations or experience are required. RSVPing to paint a bowl is completely free, and you'll simply pay for your bowl when you arrive, which will be 50% off if you choose to donate it. Our art assistants will be happy to teach you a new technique or help you create a special bowl for the Annual Empty Bowls Event!
Then, be sure to join us for the Annual Empty Bowls Event on Saturday, September 19, from 5PM to 7PM at the American Legion, 527 N. Washington St., Berkeley Springs, WV 25411. Admission to the event is $20 per person. Browse and purchase one-of-a-kind handcrafted bowls, participate in raffles and silent auctions, enjoy live music, and come together with our community to support the Meal Time Community Kitchen.
If you spot a bowl you've fallen in love with while we're sharing them online, be sure to attend the event for your chance to purchase it. Every bowl sold helps provide meals for neighbors in need, and each one serves as a lasting reminder that there is someone in our community with an empty bowl.
Every hand-painted bowl donated brings us one step closer to making this year's Empty Bowls Event a success. Thank you for helping us turn creativity into compassion.
