Toadily Wrapped in Love: Weekly Community Stitch Meet-Up

At these meet-ups, volunteers work on newborn hats and comfort octopus that are donated to babies in our local hospital nursery. Whether you’re continuing a project from our beginner workshop, building confidence with the basics, or bringing your own stitching experience to share, this is a relaxed space to connect, create, and give back.

• Conversation, connection, and creativity in a cozy studio setting

These meet-ups are not structured classes, but help and support are always available. Beginners are warmly welcomed, especially those who have attended our Beginner Knitting Workshop or feel comfortable getting started with guidance.

🧶 What’s Included

• Yarn and shared tools for use during meet-ups

• A welcoming creative space at Mr. Toad’s Pottery

• Handwritten maker tags so you can sign your work before it’s donated, each one labeled Toadily Wrapped in Love

• A community of kind, caring creators

🧺 Studio tools remain on-site in designated working baskets. Participants are welcome to bring their own tools, purchase an affordable beginner set available at the studio, or use our lending library when available.

👶 Family-Friendly Note

Toddlers are welcome to attend with their grown-up. We’ll have a small kids table with coloring pages and toys available. This is not a drop-off childcare program.

🗓 Schedule

Community Stitching Meet-Ups are held every other Wednesday (alternating weeks) following the first-Wednesday Beginner Workshop.

RSVPs are appreciated to help us plan supplies, but not required. Drop-ins are always welcome!

We happily accept donations of yarn, knitting needles, and crochet hooks to help support our community stitching group. All donated supplies go directly toward creating items for newborns in our local hospital.
