Turtle Time Stoneware Glazing Workshop

Slow down and get creative with Turtle Time! In this hands-on stoneware glazing workshop, guests will learn how to use our popular Turtle Shell technique, also known as the Frozen Pond technique, to create a fun and unique effect on a turtle-themed pottery piece.

Using specialty glazes and simple application techniques, you'll learn how different glazes work together to create the distinctive layered effect that makes this technique so much fun to watch come to life.

For this workshop, you'll have your choice of several stoneware pieces, including plates, platters, and casserole dishes. Choose the piece that speaks to you, then use the Turtle Shell technique to create a colorful turtle-inspired design that's completely your own!

Your $7 ticket reserves your seat in the workshop and covers all guided instruction.

Pottery is selected and paid for at the event. Our pottery pricing is all-inclusive and covers the pottery piece, paint, time in the studio, glazing, firing, finishing, and sales tax.

Refund & Cancellation Policy: At Mr. Toad's Pottery, we strive to provide a creative and enriching environment through our various classes, workshops, and special events. Please review our detailed cancellation and refund policy below, which is tailored to different event types:

Workshops, Classes, Paint & Sips, Art Camps:

• Minimum Participants:

  A minimum of 4 participants is required to hold a workshop or class.

• Cancellation by Us:

  If we do not reach this minimum, we may contact you one week in advance to encourage additional sign-ups. If the minimum is still not met 48 hours before the event, we will either transfer your registration to another class or issue a full refund.

• Cancellation by You:

  If you need to cancel your attendance, please do so at least 48 hours before your scheduled class to receive a credit for a future class. This credit will be valid for use within the next three months. Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class will not receive a credit or refund.

  When refunds are issued, they will be processed to your original form of payment within 5-7 business days.
