Mr. Toad's Pottery is a small, local, female-owned modern art studio located in LaVale, MD is now expanding to Chambersburg, PA. Our customers enjoy creating fine arts in our fun, relaxing & clean studio. We offer pottery painting, colorbook canvas for walk in painting. Other mixed media, canvas, candles, stoneware and clay art mediums are offered at workshops. We also offer parties for all occasions, custom painting, kids classes, summer camps, special events and much more.

We believe in creating an engaging & rewarding work experience for our people. Our team members are hard-working, have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and share their passion for art. We work as a team to assist our customers and strive to provide a fun environment for families and friends to create art together. Team members are trained to assist guests in a friendly efficient manner, work with glazes and design tools, teach techniques, teach customers how to use all of our tools to facilitate their art, host fun birthday parties & events, glaze pottery and operate kilns. Team members are expected to work hard, but have fun doing it!

At Mr. Toad's Pottery, we specialize in "Toadily Creating Hoppy Memories" for all ages! Whether you're a seasoned artist or just looking for a creative escape, our paint-your-own pottery studio is the perfect place to unwind and let your imagination flow.

No Reservations Needed – Walk In 7 Days a Week!

We make creativity easy and accessible. Just walk in anytime, pick your project, and start creating! From painting pottery to crafting a Colorbook Canvas or creating an artful memory, there's a project for everyone to enjoy.

How It Works

Warm Welcome: You'll be greeted by one of our friendly, hoppy art assistants, ready to guide you through our studio layout and show you how our glaze paint bar works.
Pick Your Project: Choose from over 500 pottery pieces, glazes, and supplies, or dive into our Colorbook Canvas or Mosaic Candle projects.
Create Your Masterpiece: Get inspired and start creating! Whether painting pottery or crafting a take-home project, the possibilities are endless.
Leave the Rest to Us: For pottery, once you're done painting, we'll take over from here! Your piece will be glazed, fired, and ready for pickup within a week. For take-home projects like canvases and candles, you'll walk out the door with your creation the same day!

All-Inclusive Pricing

Our pricing is simple and stress-free. The price of your pottery piece includes everything: paint, supplies, studio time, glazing, firing, and even sales tax. With our most popular items ranging from $25 to $55, there's something for every budget.
