About the event

🌿 Bold shapes. Inky botanicals. A modern twist on florals. 🌿

In this Abstract Garden Workshop, guests will create a striking, contemporary garden design using color-blocked blobs of glaze layered with graphic black greenery. This style is all about contrast—soft organic shapes paired with loose, expressive botanical linework—resulting in a piece that feels playful, modern, and totally unique.

You’ll be guided through:

  • Building an abstract base using layered color blocks

  • Adding black floral and foliage details for depth and movement

  • Balancing negative space, shape, and flow

  • Letting go of perfection and leaning into expressive design

This workshop is perfect if you love art that feels modern, illustrative, and a little bold, and it’s very beginner-friendly—no drawing or painting experience needed.

Workshop Details:

🌱 Guests will paint their ceramic piece of choice

🌱 Instruction, materials, and kiln firing included

🌱 Pottery is selected and paid for the night of the event

🌱 Finished pieces will be ready for pickup after firing

Whether your garden turns out whimsical, dramatic, or delightfully abstract, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind piece that feels like artwork and functional pottery.
